Karen Macartney, our CEO, leads our organisation. She is a C-level executive with a wealth of experience in both the sports industry and charity sector. Known for her expertise in strategic planning and financial management, Karen excels in stakeholder engagement and promoting inclusion and diversity. Her leadership skills and commercial acumen, evident in her various roles and consultancy work, equip her to effectively lead complex, socially impactful projects.
Susan provides over 30 years of business experience, having worked with major organisations shaping product strategy and marketing and communications. She has also dedicated more than a decade to small businesses and startups. Susan is a Teaching Fellow, and passionate about learning, she teaches at the University of Edinburgh and was Chair the Open University Alumni in Scotland for 10 years. She is a Board member of Long Covid Scotland Charity.
Kaitlyn plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between our project goals and community expectations. She works directly with community members to ensure their voices and needs are reflected in our projects. Her efforts are key to maintaining open and effective communication, as she also manages the social media and digital marketing for the organisation.

MBE, Treasurer of Creative Crieff, Chairman NFU Mutual and a mixed beef and arable farmer, Crieff, has held numerous prominent positions in the Scottish agriculture sector including serving on the board of Scotland’s Rural College (SRUC).
MBE, is a member of BAFTA under the company name McDongall Films. She set up the International Audio Describer Agency (IADA) and described films for Pathe, Momentum and Film Four. This followed on from describing plays in theatres, starting in Perth and in Edinburgh, Bristol, London, and Holland.
Known as Scoogz is a qualified primary and secondary teacher currently working at Viewlands Primary School in Perth. Scoogz has spent most of his professional life supporting and teaching children with Additional Support Needs, focused primarily on young people with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties. He is also a professional musician, singer, and songwriter who has toured widely throughout the UK, Australia, the US and across Europe.
The founder of Denholm Partnership Architects, has been at the forefront of integrating energy-efficient timber frame design within the Scottish architectural landscape since establishing the practice in 1988. Operating from Comrie, Perthshire, his firm is renowned for its commitment to designs that are both sympathetic to the rural Scottish environment and responsive to the demands of contemporary living. James provides invaluable technical oversight and support, drawing on his extensive background in project management and engineering.
