Invictus
Saturday 8 August 2026
7:00pm
Strathearn Community Campus
As part of this year’s Crieff Film Festival, we’re delighted to present Invictus, an inspiring true story that explores the extraordinary power of sport to unite people.
Starring Morgan Freeman as Nelson Mandela and Matt Damon as South African rugby captain François Pienaar, Invictus tells the remarkable story of how the 1995 Rugby World Cup helped bring a divided nation together following the end of apartheid.
Powerful, uplifting and deeply moving, Invictus is a celebration of leadership, resilience and the belief that sport can inspire hope, create lasting change and unite communities.
Whether you’re passionate about rugby, inspired by true stories or simply enjoy powerful cinema, Invictus is not to be missed.
