Crieff Film Festival Programme 2026
The theme of Crieff Film Festival 2026 is Sport, celebrating the power of sporting stories, achievements and community spirit on screen.
Now returning for its second year, the festival will showcase films and activities that highlight ambition, teamwork, resilience and the moments that bring people together through sport.
Creative Crieff aims to continue bringing the joy of cinema to residents of Crieff and the wider Perth and Kinross community, while celebrating the creativity, talent and stories that inspire us all.

David Barras Film Workshops
Info: Young people can get creative at Crieff Film Festival 2026 with filmmaker and film educator David Barras.

The interactive workshops are fun, hands-on sessions will explore storytelling, filmmaking and this year’s festival theme of sport — helping young people build confidence, learn new skills and bring their ideas to life on screen.

Chariots of Fire
The Festival Premiere & Reception of Chariots of Fire as Crieff Film Festival 2026 launches its second year with a celebration of sport, ambition and the power of an unforgettable story on screen.
This special invitation event marks the opening of this year’s sport-themed festival, bringing together cinema, community and celebration in the heart of Crieff.

Family Fun Activities Strathearn Community Campus 11 -4pm
Join us at Strathearn Community Campus from 11am to 4pm for a fun-filled day of activities for all the family.
With multiple activities to enjoy, including face painting and plenty to keep children and young people entertained, it’s the perfect way to get involved, have fun and be part of the Crieff Film Festival celebrations.
